Cam install question?
After installing a new cam and using the pen magnet method to help retain the lifters, what keeps the lifters in the block and not coming completely out when removing the pen magnets? Is the a stop that will hold the down on removal? Getting ready for install and any answers or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

what jmx said, there is a reatainer in the block, after you remove the rockers, rotate the engine 360 degrees and they will hang in the retainers until you replace the rockers and set them.

Nope, the magnets will not pull the lifters out. It would make changing the lifters a snap though Oh well
