I just called them and they said that It will fit but its REALLY close most people would 2nd guess doing it but it would fit. That kinda makes me nervous. What to do?
Looks like the G5x3 is 234/242 with a 600/610 lift.
I've never installed that cam, but I have a installed a vindicator which is 240/244 605/596 lift.
I had heard the same things about being a tight fit with the vindicator, but I didn't have any problems. If you don't have the equipment to properly check ptv and you for some reason cant get a solid answer you could always install it and turn it over by hand and see if it catches.
I'm sure someone has installed that cam and can chime in with a little more helpful info. If it was me and LG said it would fit I'd go for it. Just make sure you have everything properly installed.

On a 112 you probably want to flycut. It's not that big of a deal.
Once again, it's not lift that get you into P/V problems - it's overlap. That cam has 14 degrees of overlap which is a little more than I would run without flycutting. The cam I ran in my 346 had 9 degrees of overlap and it lightly kissed the pistons without flycutting.
Just my $.02

clearance .070/.110 thats checking it with clay/checker springs/modified solid ls1 lifters. i installed mine i didnt flycut that on all stock heads and gaskets

The g5x3 is a great performer,i had it. In your case i would look into a different cam to be safe. The g5x2 may be better or get a different cam all around. I can tell you,the x2 cam is close to the x3 in power and every other way,i ran that cam too.
No difference between the two. the both idle the same and drive the same(or so close i can't tell)The x3 makes about 8hp more on the peak. I also ran the x4 cam and it made no gain at all on the dyno or at the track over the x3 cam. The x3 is the best out of these came, but if youre worried the x2 is a great performer as well.
