rockers on stroker motor

rockers on stroker motor what are most of your guys with big cube motors running? stock style rockers or rollers like the Y/T or comp setups? i'm figuring most are running a roller setup since it costs so much to build a motor that would be a bad spot to spare an expense. i was thinking of using the comp 1.7 ratio rollers when i finish my big motor. just wanted to see what everyone else was using.

I have a 382 stroker MTI built, it has stock rockers. For most applications stock rockers are fine (per MTI and LPE). Only if you have some nasty solid roller set up or a real nasty high rpm hydrolic roller set up would you actually benefit from shaft mounted ($$$) rockers. unless your making 550+rwhp N/A or if you plan on running high rpm all the time (i.e. serious autocross/open track stuff) use the stock ones. aftermarket ones may give you about 5 rwhp, not woth the expense.

Actually above the use for track, they should show more than 5rwhp. I just obtained the Harland Sharp roller rockers. I'll post the dyno numbers after the installation. Hopefully, there'll be a double digit improvement.
