#1- You're not going to make 500rwhp. Especially with a GM casting. Stop believing the marketing bullshit you read on the internet. It will only leave you let down and disappointed when your car makes 440-450.
#2- Lots of good options are mentioned in this thread about where to get your heads ported. I'm partial to A.I., but TSP's and TEA's CNC program works well also.

I didn't notice in the sig that the OP has a 383. In which case, 500rwhp is definitely possible. I thought we were talking about a stock motor here.
To everyone else referring to GTO's, I never said a 6.0L can't make 500rwhp. But 346ci cars making 500rwhp only exist on the internet.

haha right. there are plenty of people that have made a solid 500 rwhp but it takes quite a lot of work and budget. which is why most people opt for more cubes.

I love it when people drop my twin brothers name haha. I made 450 with a box stock set of 243's next year I will have Alex's old heads and cam the 4x ( worked 243's) setup from cartek in my Camaro. And I have a few more tricks up my sleeve to get more power then what Alex put down. Keep your eyes open kids I will be flying next year.

its not gona be easy on a 3.622- 346. but you need to know what your doing and have some skills for sure. Or everyone would be doing it, and there were be a ton of low 10sec h/c cars withere there stage 2 cnc ported cheap $1,200 heads. theirs not.
but its not like only 2-4 people have every done it. I've made 470whp with a stock VJ 241 i hand ported, with a fast78 and good bolt ons.
500whp has been done with 243s its not going to be with a cnc ported heads, or can add to your shopping cart in website. It will NOT be a budget port job, but will out run most other aftermarket cathedral casting out there. It will need hand porting from a good cly head porter. Like Larry Meaux, Dennis Wheet@AFD airflowdevelop on here, Greg Good, Casey Schnieder, Trevor Johnson, Craig Gallant, Seen some killer 243s form raymac in TX not sure if there were Chris Frank or Paris Pugliese or both? Harold @ Port Pro's, slick rick, lump, if you can get them to work on a 243s, Darrin Morgan,Cary Chouinard know there way around.
