Default Finally, heads and cam...need some help!

Update!
***Just pulled the trigger on an EPS cam package. Talked to Geoff and he recommended a 226/234 on a 113 LSA for my needs. Along with my stock 243 heads I'm hoping for 400rwhp.*** Thanks!

Hey gents (and ladies).

I finally saved up some cash and will be getting a head and cam package for my car. The car in question is a 1998 Camaro SS six speed with bolt on mods (ls6 intake, true duals, port and polished stock tb, 3.73 gears, suspension, etc)

I will have a local shop do the install and they have quoted me 900 bucks for the cam and heads install. I would do it myself, but I dont have the tools, time, or know how.

I would like to provide the shop with EVERYTHING needed for the install so that I do not get charged extra for misc parts. My question is what all do I need so I don't get charged extra for misc small pieces? This is what I got so far.

Cam kit
-cam (pretty certain it will be an eps cam)
-7.425 pushrods (recommended size)
-tea dual gold springs w/ steel retainers
-Stock 243 heads with center bolt valve covers and coil brackets (currently have 806 heads, could get 806 fully ported for cheaper would that be a better option???)
-LS7 lifters+ LS1 lifter trays x4
-LS2 Timing Set
-Gasket kit for heads and cam (GM LS1 3.91" MLS gasket [is this better than graphite head gaskets???], head bolts pre '04 long and short, GM timing cover seal, gm timing cover gasket, gm front seal, gm water pump gaskets, GM harmonic balancer bolt)
-Melling Oil Pump (10925) & O-ring
-Oil pan gasket (do i need this for oil pump install???)

Ok what else do I need? Please any help will be greatly appreciated. I know it's alot of parts, I just really want to get it done right the first time, but If can leave some parts out and save money that would be great. Thanks so much and hope you all respond.

Any thoughts in tearing the engine apart later down the road again?

Oil pan gasket is not needed for a pump install.

Greekey;

I think I will go with a 408 shortblock before I tear the engine down again. Hopefully this setup lasts me a while. And thanks on the no need for the oil pan gasket suggestion, didnt get it.

Thanks to all so far for your suggestions.

Well they are a little pricey, but some arp head bolts wouldnt be a bad idea on your car. You can use those bolts as many times as you want. Gm bolts you can only use once safely.
