I've read over this thread a few times, still waiting on my LQ4 to FINALLY arrive after purchasing it a month ago, I was directly inspired by your swap to go ahead with the 6.0!
Can't wait to tear in to mine!

Amazing build I just found it and read all 10 pages, I'm currently debating what engine I wanted to swap in since my ls1 just crapped out. And after seeing this I definitely want to go with the LQ4 swap now. But I have a couple of questions, 1. do you know what the c/r is now with those heads 2. did you ever think about doing the l92 heads/l76 intake instead of the 2.5 and ls6? I'm trying to decide what combo I'd go with and any insight would help

Compression is 10.55:1. The L92 heads are the hot ticket right now, and I'm sure you could make some good power them, although I'm not sure what the combustion chamber CC is, so I don't know what kind of compression ratio you'd be dealing with on the LQ4. If its a larger chamber, you'd be better suited to look at a LQ9 shortblock that has the flat-top pistons.
A 59cc head on the LQ4 shortblock would get you closer to 11:1, but limits your cam choice unless you flycut. I was happy with the 62cc heads because I had good compression that allowed me to run a decent size cam without flycutting...
Hope this helps. Good luck with your build!

Nice build. I am thinking about a LQ4 or LQ9 swap into a 2nd gen. Can't decide if I want L92 or LS6 heads. I will go with a PatG cam either way. Subscribing for dyno/track numbers!
