However best learning is done via research

You still might need to consider the Comp 926 springs. They were designed with LSR lobes in mind. You'll find that the ones you chose might fatigue quickly with those lobes and loose much of their seat pressure quickly. Cheaper is not always better.

Yes, that is true.

Well what do you recommend for retainers? Comps are actually quite expensive. $2xx for them.. I may or may not be able to buy them depends on how the next month gos. I hope it does well, so I can just buy me some H beams, forged pistons and get the turbo plumbed before the tune.

If you are going turbo, I would go with a much lower lift profile. Let the boost do the work, you'll control the valves better and make better power more reliably.
