Not trying to be an ***, but I agree. You need to do more searching around before you spend all that money.

Unless you just want to spend all that on a motor that has a bigger bark than bite.

Yeah I assumed headers from the get-go and really wouldn't consider anything w/o doing them first but that is just me........

What else do you believe is missing other than headers and exhaust. This isnt going to be a strip car. Just a daily driver that will be a lot fo fun to drive

I think I would consider picking up a set of heads in the classifieds and spending the money you save on a set of headers. There's been some really good heads for sale here lately...

by the time i got stock 243s with springs to handle the cam lift, it wouldnt be worth it to downgrade over the cncd ported ones with a cam package. Just trying to get a motor complete, Add the bolt ons shortly after.

You might just give us a call and we can run over your entire combo and get you setup with everything you need and help you spend you hard earned money in the best way possible. That way you don't have a bunch of confusion of people telling you to do this or that which may not be what you need to do at all.

Take your time and due your homework. Ask some sponsers on the site and compare combo's and prices. Don't be affraid to shop around. I would also ask some members on the site that have a build similar to what you are looking for. Do it right the first time and you will be happy alot longer...until you get used to the power and want more.

Good advice. Take your time, do your homework, and find out what's best for your goals. 8000 of us can tell you what to do, but only you are footing the bill.
