Stock camshaft is 212/222. Valve lift would be what you are after. The C4B camshaft is .560/.569"
You have Titanium retainers as that is part of the package. Compression is slightly less at 9.95:1 due to machining of the combustion chamber. Heads are CNC ported by Callaway.

Is your throttle body anodized red in color? That was standard equipment. It should also be a larger bore than a standard LS1.

I know some Aussie LS1 folk. I will send a few emails for you.

C4B heads were modified for higher valve flow lifts above .300"

Flow the same as LS1s to .300 at .350 they flow 250cfm and then flatten out at 260cfm after .400"

Very similar to LS6 heads as the LS1 flow almost identical to .300" and then I believe LS6 heads are at about 265cfm @28" at .600"

Hope that helps there.

C4b heads are junk, c4b valve springs are junk, c4b cam is great. What part of Australia are you from. I may be able to sort you out

What is the junk you mention? There are known issues with the C4B camshaft failing in service.

I recall there were some other build issues with the engine but the heads were not one of them.

thanks for everyones replys there is problems with the valve springs on these heads which i'am going to change when the new cam goes in
its the flow rate i worryed about i'am going to fit a comp cam 323/234 @.50
595/598 lift 112lsa but also going to fit a harrop 8itb intake but if the heads don't let enough air i might have to go a different route

So has anyone got any exact figures for the heads with regards to flow and how much you can safely machine off to increase compression?
