get ahold of Pat G or Geoff from EPS and have them spec you one. I would do a minimum of 3:73's to utilize any cam. With your stall, you have plenty of room to play with a large cam.

I wouldn't go anymore than 3.73s with an auto if you are gonna do the 1/4 and be a DD. And a custom cam is the way to go.

If you plan on doing just a cam for $500, you must be smoking crack.... It will cost you way more than that to properly install/tune a cam. The cam alone will be $399. Tuning will run you anywhere from 200-500, depending upon who does it. The "hidden costs" of doing a cam like springs, pushrods, timing chain, oil, coolant, new oil pump will run you at least another $500 for brand new things. To do a cam in any f-body, you are looking at 13-1400 dollars with new parts. That does not even include labor if you DIY. Most reasonable mechanics will charge around $60/hour. This is a 6-8 hour job.

I'm sure you already are doing this, but just in case your not, definately throw in a trans cooler when you put your stall in and a transgo hd-2 shift kit will definately help with the "soft" shifts you'll get after the stall.
