I would upgrade heads way before the intake.. an ls6 intake can take you a long way, stock heads.. not so much.

I have the raptr. It's a nice cam, and no flycutting required.

This is going to be a helpful thread for me because I plan on running either the RapTR, MS3, or 233/239. I'm really leaning towards the RapTR though.

EPS but talk to Geoff about a custom grind and he'll work something up to match what you want.

Yes, a custom grind. I used patrick g to spec my cam first and then spoke with geoff at eps to discuss what I wanted and the rest of my mods. A cam might be different from others just based on what you want - daily driver, how high you'll rev, drag race, auto-x, choppy idle (like you mentioned), etc. Mine's choppy but driveable - it's got an LSA of 110 but don't base yours on mine.

i would give your specs to a shop that can have a custom grind cam made for your specific setup.

lol..good luck with getting that question anwsered. most people on here will post mod after mod and dyno numbers on their cars and won't post ET's . but you will have a few that won't mind telling you what their cars run in the 1/4mile ,but the majority won't.

once again , i agree with you Detoxx . FMS don't get any love on this board nowadays except from some members like us. but if i had to pick a cam off that list i would go with the G5X4 . It's a big SOB , but I seen it go high-mid 10's with a good combo .

i think so. No need to re-use stock bolts. Hopefully you plan getting a set of ported 243's or a set of ported 5.3's heads for that size cam . Cause if you just plan on using the stock heads ,you will be leaving to much power on the table. You gotta pay to play ,man .
