I have a 98 ta with tsp 5.3 stage 2.5 heads, a tsp 224/224 cam,chromoly prd's, mild built tranny with a 3500 stall, melling pump,ls2 chain, bmr torque arm, and bmr lca brackets. I daily drive the car in the summer, and race at the local tracks. I would like to build on this setup to reliably run 10's,any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Do you already have headers and the rest of the exhaust work done? What's your intake combo?

What does it run now? If haven't done headers and full exhaust I would do that next and a 100 shot of nitrous wouldn't hurt.

 

With your mods listed (assuming you have headers and full exhaust) your going to need atleast a 100 hit to see 10's.

 

get a custom cam and some comp trunnion bearings.

Assuming it does have headers and exhaust, I would say a 100 shot.
