Jason,

Thanks for the info. Another question. How do you and Geoff feel about this cam in a big bore and how about a stroker/bored LSx motor? Seems the specs of this cam are much larger than the cams we typically see for those motors as well

The cam is set to idle at 1000 rpms. With the tuning Geoff has done, it has not stalled once.

This cam sounds like a winner. 1000rpm is good. Hell I bet you could lower it down to 900 rpm if you mess with the TB idle screw a little.

Vince, it easily can be lowered. We just set it at 1000 rpms awhile back and haven't messed with it since.

Jason awsome numbers, do you think a 3000 stall with 4.10's would work ok for a while? I an looking into a 4200 but need a little while that. When do you think you will run it at NPR?

Jason,
I still have my initial ls1edit tune from when I had my TR220 114 installed.

The idle is set at around 900-950ish .... I have a 224 112 now which seems to run good on that tune also ...

How do you think this cam would run on a tune like that? I have to drive around 100 miles (through NY city) to get to the shop to have it re-dynotuned. You think it would be a problem with that tune, or would it be okay?

It would definitely want a tune different than a 220 114 LSA cam

I know that ... I was asking if that tune would be sufficient to allow it to drive the 2 hours it takes me to get to the shop that could tune it for me.

Jason,

I am not sure if you have done this yet but can you overlay the LS6 cam dyno with this one? I'd really like to see the comparision between the two.
