Interesting about the rhoads lifters. They have been around forever, and they actually have a part number for the LS1 (RL-1728). The lifter bleeds off faster at low rpm, thus making your lift smaller by about .020", increasing your vacuum and torque. By 3500 RPM, your back at full lift again, basically the lifter goes solid at high RPM. They have been tested up to 9000 RPM, with heavy springs and no valve float...Cool!

i'm in the process of building my ls1 right now, i did a pocket port on the heads and got 15 cfm on the intake and 16 on the exhaust, i want to use the trex cam in my ls but i also wanna run a turbo on it too. i've been told that the trex is not a good cam to us for a turboed ls1 so does anyone got any suggestions?

I still own a thunder racing Trex. A genuine Louisiana Trex. Not a copy.
Goin in my current build. 16 years later. Still one of the best cams of all time.
The original 3/4 race cam for the LS1😁
