You really won't know with out finding out what your pstion-to-valve clearance is. You can do the valve drop method which is only an approximate. Best best is to use the clay method.
According to Jason the cam runs within tolerance on stock heads. But with heads that have been worked - like yours - there is not tellin' what the clearance is going to be for sure. You can guess and say if your heads are not milled then you are OK. But, I would not put that cam in without checking and rechecking your clearance as this is a whopper of a cam!

Stock rockers will work just fine with this cam.

I wonder if one of the things that you(we) need to finish is the Hot Rods motor?
Don't worry, just messing with ya, take it slow Buddy.

With stock tuning, my car was not very much fun to drive in the least. That's what I would recommend first and foremost to get this cam to be liveable on a daily basis. 6-speed cars would need 4:10s or steeper gears, and auto guys would need a fairly nice sized converter.

Hey silverstreak ws6 you will need at least a 4000 stall and some 3:73's. I doubt the gas mileage will be that great, but that is the price you pay for a monster cam. I too am insterested in the reliability. This cam would be going into my daily driver with stock heads. I will also need gears and a stall. I will let Jason fill you in on all the details.
