sry guys, i have been underway (out to sea) for the last 40 days or so, but i will be back on June 10th and hope to get this baby into the Speed Secrets shop on Satuday the 11th! i am gonna be in San Diego tomorrow and will be giving Ellis a call to verify i get a spot for that day. need a street tune and a dyno, so will probably be like 3-4 hours or so. looking forward to it. i was gonna port the runners on my fast intake, but never got around to it, the opening was ported (smoothed out ever so slightly) when bought it but think that it was un necessary. so i hope i pull at least 450, if not then a ported fast and a ram air kit will do the trick, but i still se no reason i can not make 450 with this cam. i have seen a torquer V2 make over 450 with these heads, so i see no reason why not. an update will be posted tomorrow if i get the appointment and then when i get home again, looking forward to the numbers!

ok guys, i have scheduled my Dyno tune for next week with Ellis from Speed Secrets. he said it should take a few days so i am dropping it off on Tuesday, and hopefully picking it up Friday but probably picking it up Saturday. after my dyno, my new exhaust will be going on to quiet this beast down. my naeghbors, and the cops are not to fond of my new found power, so i need t make it quiet. i am using 2 mufflers, in the I pipe i am using a dynomax bullet, and then from there back it is Magnaflow cat back with the 3.5" slash tips, here is some pics for you.

here is the Dynomax bullet (23" long) and the 4"-3" down-sizer (cause i have a 4" merge on my y-pipe, it is a QTP y-pipe) that is going to replace the i pipe.

i still have some other things to do like fix my drivers window, put on my stainless steel brake lines, and get the 4"-3" pipe welded to the dynomax bullet. then i have a truck alternator that i need to put on cause mine is going out. after that this thing will be ready for the road again!

i thought about that, but for a tuned computer, it is easier to adjust for less airflow out the exhaust and adjust for compensation then it is to adjust for more airflow. also, i will be adding a cutout in the dynomax bullet position when i move out of washington state, thill then, the bullet goes there (just keeping it quiet for the neighbors) and i got it for free

I finally got my build up and running. It is scheduled to go on the dyno 7/21. Long time to wait but it gives me plenty of time to put some miles on it and chase a P0342 code it is throwing. New cam position sensor on order and going to try swapping a and c in the harness. Can't wait to see your results.

Have you heard a cammed Magnaflow car in person? The reason I ask is that you may not need the bullet at all to be quiet enough...I have the same cat-back on my car, and it's not loud at all. I just ordered an e-cutout for it, in fact. It's REALLY quiet for a H/C LQ4 car...and a decent size cam at that...
