Default p-1sc or heads/cam?

Hey guys. Need help with my setup. I need to pass ca smog and had a 226/226 .598/.598 116+4 spec cam by patg that I'm planning on getting with ls2 243 heads with bowl porting milled .20 which I'm hoping to get close to 400rwhp while passing ca smog on stock manifolds.

Or

Should I just leave the 243s stock and just resurface them and get a stock cam and drive it stock until I can save up for a p-1sc??

The heads and cam will be done by June and charger probably end of year..car is going to be a daily driver that will pass ca smog at any station. Thanks

You definitely can make more power with the procharger but that heads/cam combo is a really nice setup also so it's really your choice
maybe start h/c for now then blower later....have that cake and eat it 2

If your willing to save up get the d1 procharger well worth the wait instead of doing heads and a cam.

i would save up and go with the P1sc. that heads/cam combo will make nowhere near the power the blower setup will. idk what kinda budget your on but if you do your research and watch for good deals, you will be able to piece a procharger kit together pretty cheap! thats what i did and i would never go back.

If you have the budget for it, I would do the P1SC. You could prob get a small blower cam later and make a lot of power.

I would just do the heads and cam, and then slap on the blower..
