Who has the most affordable, quality Short & Long Blocks available? Who is giving good deals with a quality setup and good turn-around?
Something where you don't feel like you are getting ripped off at top dollar.
Is there a short list of vendors?
ie: MTI and LPE would be priced higher than I'm talking about. LOL.

Re: Who has the most affordable, quality Short & Long Blocks available? Jason from texas speed and performance gave me a price that seemed prety reasonable. don't know anything about them but here is what he told me. this was awhile ago.
iron 409 with the lunati forged rotating asembly short block for $5000.
seems like this was machine work, forged rods, forged crank, forged pistions and asembly. no cam.
seems like he said something about a longblock 409 with some good heads for 8k asembled
