Default Sneek peek at my LS1 (now LS6) for the '63 Grand Sport

I temporarily assembled some of it to get an idea of what it'll look like. I'm still wiping the drool from my chin...

Some features are:
LS6 block, Patriot Stage 2 LS6 heads, custom grind Comp cam 228/236-.588/.602/110+2 lsa, LS6 intake manifold, LS6 PCV conversion, MTI Billet T-body, Meziere electric water pump, Speed Inc. billet fuel rails and custom Katech cast aluminum 'Grand Sport' valve covers... also powdercoated timing chain cover, PS pump and alternator brackets. The A/C compressor will be mounted on a special bracket to relocate it to the upper passenger side to clear the frame. Still deciding on the headers - looks like I may have to have some custom made.

Special thanks to Steve for raising the bar on engine appearance and to Speed Inc. for help on the engine.

Make sure you fill in the Patriot logo stamped on the heads, by the exhaust ports. My buddy had leaks around them on his 383.

Thanks everyone. The intake was painted Sebring Silver which will be the color of the car. The paint is regular BC/CC.

I was wondering if that was going to be an issue.

Hi Mark!

I was the one sitting to the right of you at the Scott Settlemire meeting in Chicago. This car is going to be so bad *** it isn't even funny.

Good luck with the project!!

Those heads are on my girlfriends car now, all she did was epoxy them and put some copper gasket sealer on them. So far, no issues at all.
