Default TEA LS6 Stage 2

Just ordered a set of these last week and they came in today. These cylinder heads look amazing and Mike from TEA was awesome to deal with. I wanted to post up flow numbers for those that might be interested as I was a little surprised. Hope they make good power, my new setup will be done about two months and I'll update with dyno numbers and track numbers. Going to these from a ported set of 853s Hopefully they'll make a noticeable difference. These are 62cc's. How much was taken off from milling was not listed on the paperwork, but I believe that it was .025 from talking to Mike last week. Anyhow, here are the flow numbers...

Intake
.100--70.1
.200--139.7
.300--216.1
.400--269.9
.500--309.7
.550--319.3
.600--326.1

Exhaust
.100--59.0
.200--121.5
.300--181.5
.400--240.3
.500--261.6
.550--267.7
.600--271.2

That is awesome and flows better than my touched up TEA TFS 220's above .500

For some reason their exhaust numbers are always jacked up (mine too) so not sure how to explain it....... even when I see them flowed with a pipe TEA #'s seem high...

Congrats they are the cream of 243's with only 2-3 others IMO....

Quick shots this morning. First time trying to get pictures of ports. Kinda difficult to lose the shadow effect.

Are you running this on 3.9'' bore or 4.0'' ?

If 3.9'' , which head gasket is required to use with these heads?

I know people have used 4.0" bore head gasket on their LS1 due to the big intake/exhaust valves.

Nice choice , congrats .

Stock LS1 gaskets or Cometics can be used for a 3.9" bore I would think. I don't know for sure how large you can go. Plenty back in the day use to use the 2.055 valves with stock gaskets IIRC
