The way Geoff described these new lobes to me was that they ARE
aggressive (fast lift per deg. duration) which is where the power comes from
but that the valvtrain as a whole would be smooth due to control of the
ramps. He said that PAC 1518s would work(prior to the recent batch issue)
but spring longevity would be shorter than running duals. Many people with
dual springs and 220-235 duration cams report 30 to 50,000 mile reliability.
Thats why I decided screw the whole weight factor issue !!! I wanted a
longer lasting spring assembly.

I might go the 1518 way. My car run-in garage for 10 min for I ever leave because I like for the piston noise to go away. Plus I run mobil 5/30 which seems to warm quick. What's a good oil temp to be safe before high revving it

i would wait until 100* until i would drive it, I DO NOT take it over 3k rpm until the oil pressure drops to normal psi at idle. this is usually 5 min after hitting operating coolant temperature

I would just like to say that comp cams 918 springs had a few issues at one
time (heard they switched suppliers) and recently PAC had a bad batch of
1518s....compare the installed/open and spring rate of these two brands.
VERY similar......???????? if you are dead set on NOT running duals thats
fine just please consider calling Advanced Inductions about PSI maxlife
beehives........good luck
