Default T/A LS1 vs. GTO LS1
This is probably a simple answer but the LS1 in a Trans Am is rated at (320 hp Ram Air/305 non) and the GTO 04' is rated at 350 hp), but they're both LS1's.

Whats the difference in the engines? Thanks

Nothing. The numbers are bullshit.
01-02 claimed 310hp and 325, 98-00 claimed 305-320.

pretty much nothing.. better exhaust they were underated from the factory .gto is a way nicer ride but the f-body is lighter

the difference is..my 00 trans am beats ls1 gto's.

Weight, handling. Power, the t/a has an advantage because of the straight axle.
