To cam or not to cam

To cam or not to cam Ok I've got a Torquer 2 with about 2,000 miles on it thats out of my Trans Am. Since I've all ready got the cam all I'd need is a gasket kit, timing chain, and oil pump and Im ready for a cam swap in my camaro. It has 116,000 on it but its had alot of spray put through it in its life. Do you guys think I should use the cam in the camaro or just sell it and put it toward a 9 inch for the T/A. Thanks
Definetely throw the cam in. 116k is nothing for these motors in my experience. Besides you already have it, might as well use it. I agree with ^^^ the $250 or so you get for it by selling isnt going to be that much toward a 9 inch. Go for it, spray it, and have fun!! Hell looks like you gotta another fbody as a back up if it does blow. Thats a good situation to be in.lol

Like others have said might as well use it since you have it. While you have the motor apart consider going to a 2004 or later style valley cover will clean things up and help eliminate or reduce oil consumption.
