That cam has 6 degrees of overlap at .050" Do you believe that equates to good street manners?

Street manners are mostly derived from the tuner's ability. There's 10* overlap cams out ther that are DDs.

^ Also slightly depends on how they act with stock gears or incorrect gears for the cam.

Tuning does play a big role, but I shouldn't have to kick the car to get it to move like how some top end cams act.

I just listened to your audio. Does not sound like it has good street manners with that choppy idle. What is streetable to one is not to the other. That is always the issue here.

I'd don't know about all that. A good tuner can give a pretty radical cam pretty decent street manors. I have a 236/244 and it's street manors are just fine...

That video was with Torquer 2 on 113 untuned, then after a while on TSP dyno tune. My custom 227/235 would roll of idle up to 35 mph part throttle with no bucking or surging, which wasn't at all possible of the Torquer/TSP tune. Cam had 2* more overlap than Torquer cam. Anyone with a cammed LS1 should know how much even the smallest cam will buck/surge with the wrong tune.
