my LS6 may be threatened by the newer-gen SBCs in races, but you can't argue with the fuel economy they get!

first off, consider what heads you wish to run. the whole point of running a split-pattern cam is to compensate for the exhaust port's inability to flow as much as the intake side.

point in case, i'm running a 228/230 for an off the shelf AFR205, which has large enough exhaust ports to warrant a single pattern cam. at least that's what i understand. but i still make great rwtq numbers.
