Default torquer v.2 retard or advance

Ive got my timing chain exposed right now and was wondering if I should advance my cam to get power sooner...I've read that TSP torque cam v.2 opens up later in the rpms so I'm thinking I should advance it to start power sooner....what are tour thoughts on this?

Hey bro I found on the search that if you advance it you might have PTV clearance...

I'm aware of ptv issues, and I compensated for that. I put together parts and machining to put my pistons .002 in the hole rather than out like most ls engines. Also I have valve releifs in the pistons.

I wasent trying to be a dick and you have a valid concern and I thank you. My main question is if I advance it 4 deg. To bring power in sooner, how will the ls3 heads respond to that. If I had cathedral port heads there would be no question, but I know the ms4 and ls3 heads aren't the best combination because of the smaller split on the cam. So I'm wondering if I advance it a little, would that help the cam and heads work a little better with one another.

What lobe separation is the cam on? We have advance ground into the cam, on a 112 it has 2 degrees of advance already. Typically we recommend installing them straight up, but we always recommend using a degree wheel if you have it on the cam.

Thanks for the response John. I called earlier and spoke with Matt and he said just leave straight up. I have a 113 LSA

Thanks man...I spoke with Matt from TSP and he said its got 2 ground in it depending on the seperation, so I'm going to leave it straight up...plus I read on here that if you have a 4k stall you could get away with keeping straight up. so that's were I'm at.
