Default Corvette cam install question

I'm headed over to a friends house this morning to tune his 03 Corvette...I've never messed with a drive by wire tb... on cable throttle throttle bodies there is the small set screw under the closed throttle stop to crack the throttle blade opened, but how do you adjust this on a drive by wire?

Couldn't find a screw...I unplugged it and had him turn the key on then waited...then turn the key off and I cracked it opened with my finger, plugged it back in and had him turn the key back on....seems to have set it right where I wanted it.

The car starts tight up and isles great for a few seconds, then dies. It has a "low oil level" on the DIC. The cam they put in is a 228 from Thunder Racing.

Any ideas what would cause the stalling, it even stalls if you feather the throttle like the girl is cutting off. I threw in a base time adjustment so the tune should be very close and its not throwing any codes

Lol its topped off....could the low oil warning make it shut off? They looked and I looked and could not find anything unplugged. He had no running problems before the cam swap.

With a 228 it should still start up and run poorly even with the stock tune shouldn't it?

It has great oil pressure, just can't reset the low oil light....he rests it and it comes right back on.

I told him to hook a fuel pressure gauge up to the rail and have someone watch it when he starts the car to see if he is losing fuel pressure after startup..he is going to go play with it tomorrow after work again

The last I heard they had the fuel pump relay hotwired through another relay, and were running it like that...both of us have been working lots of OT, so I haven't had a chance to talk to him....I'll have to break something today so I can run up to the motor pool and talk to him lol

Low oil pressure isn't the oil pressure switch playing up? Mine did that and was the oil pressure switch on the top of the valley at the back.

The Low Oil Level indicator comes from a different sensor than a Low Oil Pressure condition. The oil level sensor is located on the side of the oil pan.

The only thing that kept coming back was the oil level light (oil is full) oil pressure is fine.....could the level light kill the fuel pump relay power? Everything looked to be hooked up, but when they did the exhaust they may have bumped/ internally broke the level switch.

The answer to your question may be vehicle/model specific, but on my 2005 CTS-V, the Low Oil Level circuit does not effect the motor operation - it only signals a dashboard warning.

There is not mechanical adjustment on the TB. It should start and idle with that cam although you may need to play with the throttle to slowly approach idle.

That's where we had the problem....it wasn't a tuning issue, it was the fuel pump relay not powering back up after initial key on prime....once we jumped/ bypassed the relay my tune was/ is dead on....but for some reason the pump wouldn't power back up
