243 Head on the new 4.8L is the same as the ls6 head Found a set of 243 heads at a salvage yard off a 2010 full size chevy pickup it has 243 head casting. the motor looks just like a 5.3l
So are these the same casting heads as the ls6 or different

The way most guys here setup their valvetrain, having lighter valves matter little. Stock 2.00/1.55 stainless valves will do the job just fine if VJ is on the money.
