Sounds good Rodney! Bring the car by the shop when you are done with the spring swap and I'll install the cam for you.

think of it this way. it may loose 3 or 4 rwhp with the upgraded valvetrain for the baseline, but we are doing a true cam only swap still have to install my roll cage, new rims and tires. new gears, tach and other crap then have a chance to practice atleast once before the shootout.

might be because i forgot a valve seal and had to figure out which one it was.

dazman,
i used the more performance tool that thunder sells. it works excelent. you really need a 1/2 drive long ratchet with a reducer to 3/8 to give you enough leverage to comfortably hold that spring compressed while trying to get the lock in. or a second person would have been nice.

if you go with this cam. just get the exact stuff i have listed to avoid all questions. if you go with the comp springs the shims may or maynot be the same.
to answer someones next question i can see coming. i dont know if you have to run shims, i dont think jason is, but due to the lift of the cam, i would do it for extra safety. i think it will be recomended.

well the car is once again down to a driver seat only
im done with putting all the performance parts back on it.
now everyone is waiting on jet hot. its going on 3 weeks.
anticipation is killin me. guess i could start on the monkey bars now.
btw, if you cant tell, i have decided not to sell the car.
hopefully we can get the ball rolling so i can get some track times before the shootout.
