Default GM 90mm TB and Intake manifold pt#s

So a buddy of mine was cruising around on the www.world-challenge.com site. One of my favorite racing series and found this about the CTS-VR they are racing.
http://www.world-challenge.com/compe...LLAC-CTS-V.pdf

Intake Manifold pt# 12569011
90mm tb pt# 12579615

It seems it is a rule to have new parts avilable if they want to use them in racing. Take a look at the engine bore size and displacement destroked C5R block??? Now look at the heads!
The Vette guys are pissed about this CTS-VR utilization of new parts when they cannot run themselves use them.
Stick with it David Farmer, you have two big fans here!!!

Interesting, thanks for the link.

Heads have a 290 intake port runner volume with 2.02 valves. Must flow really well. Also shows a 1.8 rocker ratio. I wish it had cam specs.

Check one source and the parts aren't out to the public yet. Will try another one. BTW does anyone have a lead on these?

I was told 3-6 months before the parts are available to the public.

I just tend to think the 90mm TB will be less expensive than the aftermarket 90's and the LS2 will be less than an LSX.
