Crane R-248 Cam?

Has anyone tried or know about this cam? http://www.cranecams.com/product/car...detail&p=24659

I was interested in it, but I saw the duration and thought it was abnormally higher than usual. So I emailed Crane Cams and they replied saying that it was correct...

Looks like a pretty good stroker cam....I'm running a 255/266 in my 408

you want a cam to match you components,weight,gears,stall.don't put a race cam in a street motor.look at a comp LSr cam on LSL lobes.or look at a cam from a vendor on here.

Ok, well I was just looking for a big cam for my 6.0L that's going in my drag-only car. I'm looking for one with about that much lift, but probably not so much duration, as I am leaving the bore and stroke stock. Thanks.

You do realize this is a mechanical lifter cam, right? Will require major parts upgrades to install...
