5.7 07-98 LS1 heads.
These are the worse heads thta have been put on a LS1 from GM.
After porting they are about the same as most LS1 heads, but still not as good as the LQ9 (317 casting) LS6 (243 casting) 5.3 Liter (i forget this one) and there is also 4.8 head with the same castings as the 5.3's.

as stated 241 castings are the best flowing 5.7 heads over the 853's and the 806. 706 5.3 heads have smaller intake vavles 1.89 vs 2.00 on the 5.7 heads. CC on the 5.3's is smaller, if you get some 5.3's you'll want them ported and outfitted with bigger vavles to get the most out of them. due to there smaller CC they yeild a 10.8 CR IIRC.

do a search for the CC and head casting thread, it has all the info you need.

i also have a set of stock 6 liter heads . what is my best option without much money?

i'd take the 6.0l heads assuming there LQ9, mill them to get a smaller CC, and port them and keep the stock vavles.
