Default Improved Rev 1116 Springs Are They Any better????

Is any body using the new style Rev 1116 springs. If so do you think they are better than old type. Have you heard of anybody breaking them?

I have the old ones with no problems on .600 lift, and we are going to use the new ones on another engine we are building in a couple weeks. I think install error accounts for a lot of spring breakage.

I had the 1116's when I first put my cam in. I broke one in like 2 thousand miles, then broke another and when I replaced them all there was another one bent.
I am running Isky springs right now, but haven't gotten on my car since install. I am still waiting to put my clutch in.

5k on the old ones here on .592 lift. I used the +.030 retainers to adjust the install heights. New ones are good to .630 one vendor said. Don't know what the new coil bind is at now.
