228/232 cam. you can get it on a variety of lobes Xer lobes are pretty good for what you are looking for.

I agree with always2slow, is look for something around a .595" lift, once you go over .600" your valvespring life will decrease...unless you don't mind changing valve springs every year

Right in the same area as others suggested, I'd consider the TSP Torquer V3
231/234 with their dual spring kit (wont need annual changing). with a new
tune look for this stick to give in the area of 50 rwhp over the stock cam

I just did a 224r cam and comp 918 beehives. Nice sounding lope at idle but still makes a lot of power. A 228r cam only makes 5 more hp. For a DD this would be a good cam. Mine is in my weekend toy and I'm still satisfied with it. Better undercamming than overcamming.

You might want a slightly bigger cam then what has been mentioned due to the fact you have a 4000 stall. You can get a bigger cam with that size stall and you might want to do some 3.73 gears as well. You can always ask Pat G or Predator Z what they would recommend too.

I'd recommend 3.73s also. A low 230s duration cam would work great with that stall, but its better to have a stall thats alittle higher than you need rather than a stall that's too low

Im thinking a low 230's would work great with like a 3,600 and maybe a mid to higher 230's with the 4000.

A lot of good cams so far but it all depends on what your looking for do you want something that's going to have a strong low end mid or high end? Street manners mpg hp trq are all going to play a different roll in which cam you get. If your looking for cam in the 230's range I have a f13/f14 cam for sale. Its a 230/234 598/598 114. Good luck keep us updated on what your looking for and what you get.
