This is exactly how to do it, If its stuck that tight the valve prolly closed on it. crank it over by hand till the valve opens and it should let go.

[QUOTE=KH504;15085588]Pull the heads off and get you a set of stock 243.[

Are stock 243s better than the 241s?

thats some pretty big kitchen towel. I wouldn't be surprised if you found it bent the valves as well.

Yes 243's are much better than the 241's. Worth the upgrade if your wallet allows it.

I was extremely pissed, but she is genuinely sorry and I needed to upgrade the heads and do lifters anyway, this is just a good excuse to get it done. She WILL be helping with the cost.

Whats a good place to order LS7 Lifters and Head/Exhaust Gaskets.

somtimes that helps...did anyone know that it's an actual law here in GA that on sundays at noon..you can take your wife to the courthouse steps and beat her LOL..
i always tell the wife..yeak okay..keep talking s#$t...Sunday is once every week lol

but nah bro seriously..really no need to clean your pistons ..it's just carbon buildup and it breaks away on it's own for the most part...if i'm wrong here someone correct me and help him out lol

Wow, guess you see something new everyday haha.

BTW, doesn't take much to bend a valve. I'd make sure you pull that valve and check it very carefully because even the slightest bend and you'd be screwed.

I found a set of 241's supposedly with only 600 miles on them for 300, is this a good deal?
