I preach this to everyone that wants to go reverse split. You HAVE to have the most free flowing exhaust possible to get your "numbers" out of this cam. It will still out perform under the curve every comparable cam around, but a lot of people are dissapointed because they didn't make the "number" they wanted with this cam, but then go to the track and turn an awesome e.t. because they can get the weight moving down track with tq.

Youll need to go big every where as stated, 102 intake, 1 7/8s headers, TDs, underdrive pulley etc, all the small stuff adds up. As far as the cam something in the area of a MS4, G5x4, T Rex, F 16 etc should get you there

Just tell him where to find a generous dyno and that should fix things....Dyno #'s are SOOOO variable around here it aint even funny. 450rwhp in car A on dyno Z may be 400rwhp on Dyno J. You might as well just give up comparing dyno #'s, just put a package together that you thing should make good power, but be within the range of drivability that you are after, and forget about it...It will be faster than what it is now and should be enjoyable.
I am running a 231/239 113 comp cams cam, and makes good power, still knocks down 25+mpg with 3.42 10 bolt, M6, and is very drivable....I think my set up would be ideal as your goal, but there will be others with similar setups that say they make more or less power, so you gotta keep it all in perspective about the dyno #'s.
