Default Heads and cam for LS1

Trying to decide what heads and cam to go with for my car. I want to make around 430-440hp to the wheels all motor and somewhere in the 400s of ftlbs of torque. I will eventually be spraying the car. Nothing real big 100 shot or 150 shot. I've been looking at the Magic Stick 3 cam with PRC 5.3 heads. I've heard that you end up changing valvesprings quite often withan MS3 though. But before I decide on anything I'd like to get some other opinions on what other people have in their cars.

The MS3 and PRC 5.3 heads should definetly get you where you want to be power wise no problem!

Depends on what springs you use and what your definition of quite often is.

Just sayin...

I recall you're supposed to check them every 10k and replace every 40k with the prc dual springs?

This is just gonna be my weekend hot rod. I drive my truck daily. And the miles put on it will be pretty hard. The car is a 2000 and only has 24k miles on it. I don't put many miles on it.

Decided on a good lowend torque cam from EPS that's supposed to pull all the way through. Next is heads, trying to decide between PRC 5.3 heads. Or just spendin the extra money on a set of trickflow 215s.

Consider some ai 243s. Those with an eps cam is a sick combo.

No way you should have to check them every 10k miles.

Good choice, what were the specs on the cam? My EPS cam, untuned makes gobs of torque downlow.
So far I've only driven it shifting at 2500 rpm.

Here is vid of my car with the heads and cam you are interested in, but with a 113lsa. I haven't had any issues since install and car is still running strong, shooting for high 10's all motor later this year, but with a 100shot i can easily be there now..

What's the cam specs? You can't go wrong with AFR or Trick Flow heads, but some AI 243's would also be bad ***.
