anyone running tsp 233/239 with 241 or similar casting heads (stock, ported, milled)? i know i should be upgrading to 243's but at this stage the budget is very tight..... those running 241's what kinda power are you putting down with those heads?

I know there are ppl that do it.. Cant really speculate on numbers because I havnt had any experience personally with that cam. It is a bit of a donkey dick tho, you ever consider something smaller or maybe a custom grind for your specific setup? You could get all the performance the 233/239 would give you and keep some driving manners as well, not no mention the low end you would likely lose with the 233/239. Also, you ever consider sending your 241s to some place A.I. for CNC work? Its much cheaper than getting into a set of ported 243s and you get *almost* as much out of them. Its what I plan on doing. Dont let ppl railroad you into 243s and having you believe they are heads and shoulders better than 241s. 241s are capable of PLENTY, much more affordable, and you get to keep that 241 casting no. to fool people who know to look for it (one of my main objectives)...
Just some suggestions, others will chime in with info on the 233/239 Im sure
