Default Stock Crank Guys: How many have chamfered cranks?

Breaking down my LQ4 this weekend and sending the block to washed & honed, I've been told that the chamfereing process allows more oil to get to the bearings. Has anyone else done this? Is it adviced?

I have always thought chamfering the oil passages on anything was to get rid of the sharp edge which could be a stress point for a potential crack.
