should have more horsepower?
2002 ws6 6 speed. Mods:slp lid, k&n filter, ported throttle body, ls6 intake, kooks 1 7/8" long tubes, off road y pipe, borla exhaust, powerbond u/d pulley, comp cam 231/234 .644 lift, stock heads but new springs and retainers, and HP Tune... dyno said 409 to rear wheel. That sounds low. Any thoughts.

Dyno numbers really don't mean much; timeslips tell the real story. Stop with the barrels-in-the-floor foolishness and run that bad boy on the strip. My car put down 296 rwhp on a chassis dyno (typical bone stock LS1 numbers) but it ran the time in my sig without any non-power-enhancing mods that would help the ET, so it's obviously stronger than stock. That dyno sheet means poop.

You don't have a problem.
You have 100 horse over stock with just a pulley, cam and headers.

You keep saying 500hp. The motor makes it now. Don't get Fly Wheel hp and Rear Wheel hp mixed up. You just loose it spinning those tires. If you want to make 500rwhp with stock cubes, it's gonna take the right combo and a perfect tune. No way should you expect that with cam and bolt ons.
