Loud noise from driver's side... Vid included My car has been making what sounded like an exhaust leak noise for the last few weeks. I didn't think much of it tip yesterday when the noise was more pronounced.
Today while I was driving, the noise began to sound like a helicopter. It was sudden and while cruising at about 1700 rpm. I limped the car home and parked it.

Sounds like a big exhaust leak. Inspect the AIR valve at the end of the rubber hose, if that's not it then inspect the AIR line and the gasket at the exhaust manifold junction w/ the AIR system.
