Go back and read post #17. I was just being polite and giving a ending to the thread. So your last statement has little grounds for truth. We just have different opinions.... I was simply look for "friendly" opinions on a worked 243 vs the aftermarket setups. With dollar per hp being my importants. Again thanks for playing and good to know you guys are such reasonable guys.....it really makes all the "lurkers" want to post something. Bitting thier mfing heads off.... You guys keep patroling the net....I'll be at the track.

For what it's worth I picked up a set of 243's from a Z06 off CL for $400, sent them to Texas Speed to get CNC'd along with a valve job. With the PRC dual springs as well. Along with my stock LS6 intake and a TR224 cam, the car screams and I couldn't be happier.

No times or dyno sheets yet, still breaking the converter in trying to keep off the gas but it's very hard sometimes. Still debating whether to switch back to my 3.73 gear from my current 3.23. Car is on a 3600 stall now
