PRCs/AI 243s/Dart Pros??
Im up the air about heads..just looking for some updated thoughts. Iv read A LOT of negitive things about Dart Heads, but they are older posts. I have a chance to get a set local, They are the 205s. The Darts are cheaper than a set of PRC 2.5 LS6s and About the same to get my 243s sent to AI. For a street strip car, lookng to make as much power as I can obviously, and then a 150 shot what would be a better head for the money?

PRC heads are worth the money if you don't already have 243's.
TEA did my 243's and I think they're one of the top CNC/PP shops around, you get what you pay for, there a few hundred more than AI.
To do it over again; Trick Flow 220 as cast at $1800 are the best bang for the buck IMHO and they can be CNC'd latter for more flow.
Heads are not a place to save money. When I was researching a H/C/I combo, the #1 thing was always heads and flow numbers on any engine that was performing. If you look at the big names; Vigrinia speed has a Vette with crazy numbers, streetable for grandma and a 22X/22X cam. Ligenfelter's cars all had highflowing cnc/pp heads and huge numbers/performance.

I gained 55 rwhp 36lb/ft tq from stock 241s to AI 243s 226cc program... I looked at TEA as well and passed on them.. I also have a custom cam from AI.
If I were you I would just have AI spec the cam for you. These guys have proven to me in countless emails they know A LOT more than some of the "cam gurus" here.

That range of options really covers the entire spectrum of quality & output. It is the machine work that makes the difference, and as always, you won't receive what you don't pay for.
There are some results & links on our page for the fully CNC'd 243's here: http://www.advancedinduction.com/LSX...cGMLS2Head.php
Many results to add as time allows - right now the other heads need photos/results added more than the 243's since they're probably our most popular CNC'd GM head.
Turnaround on GM LS heads is usually 10-18days if paid in full vs. the 50% deposit. Typically we run heads fairly quickly, and then end up waiting on cams for ~2wk. We try to wait until the cam is in hand & passes QC to perform final milling & assembly so we can guarantee the top-end simply bolts together & has adequate p2v if assembled properly. Thanks for your interest.

if you're going to spend so much money and time on a heads and cam then why not wait till after the event to do the job right?
I don't understand the hurry when to do a job right will take time to not only get the right parts but to tune also. Plus it's allot of money!!!!
