Just for cam/pushrods/timing chain/oil pump/springs you are looking at 600-1000$ depending on what you opt for.

You need headers, I recommend 1 7/8... ORY/cutout
Ls6 intake to help you pull to where the cam stops making power.
auto- converter is an absolute must/trans cooler
manual- gears really help them out but not a must

But yes, we need more info.

As good as a 228r or so is I would still go with a little more. I daily drive a 224/230 114lsa and I'm changing it, its just not enough for me.

I don't know a number honestly. I will soon with the new cam. I know I kept up dead even with a 403 hp trans am. Just beat a 70mm turboed 01 cobra, was even with a 4.10 geared mach one with exhaust and a 100 shot and was estimated 385 from the same guy that tuned my buddies 403 horse 233/239 114lsa cammed Trans Am. As for driving it I did it a while for 3.42s and had no problem and eventually went to 4.10s as a speed mod and now driving it is even better. I am a m6 though.
