Mast makes a clearanced stroker tray. Its probably expensive. I just made some spacers for my application. Worked great.

Use washers. Pretty standard practice, but be sure to check pickup to pan clearance. Spacing the windage tray will cause the pickup to be closer to the pan.

Usually somewhere between 1/4"-3/8" works well.

Just clean the pickup, put tape over it, then put two 1" cubes of a soft clay or Play-Doh on each end of the taped up pickup. Wet the cubes with oil or water, and then place the pan on the engine with the gasket.

When you take the pan off, the oil should keep the cubes from sticking so you can measure the height of the flattened cubes to see how much clearance you have.

Like KCS said just recheck when you are through and make it right. We use two to three 3/8 washers on the windage trays on mosty stroker deals every day or so and you usually do have to check the pickup height to make sure it isn't bottomed out in the pan.

yes and or even just push on it but not too much although you can bend it back if you push or tap it down too far.
