***UPDATE***

So I just got done with replacing the rocker arms and this is what is going on:

New rockers
good oil pressure

bad part there is a loud knock from the valves or pistons.

I'm uploading videos

Ok, so i have done my rockers as per the book, unplugged all cylinders individually and multiplie ones (left and Right) there is still a knock.. Im thinking camshaft or crank heres the knock on audio only with it cleaned up.

ok I'm no expert.. but that sounds like rod bearings to me.

I'd say that thing is hosed man.

I went with a salvage yard Lq4. It was cheap, but i'm not so sure i'm gonna stick with it just yet. LQ9 would be better if you're gonna stay NA. Bit harder to find but still a great choice. 400-450WHP easy.

Total Noob mode here. But how would a spun bearing ave it make that knocking noise?

it makes that noise because of slop as it is my understanding. the piston rod is banging around as the crank moves. Eventually the bearing will come loose, bind against the top bearing and lock the engine down. Could damage the block. best if you stop now, take it apart, maybe the block is still good.

what worries me is his earliest ticking noises are similar to the sound my car has been making for about 6 months now. think mines just noisy valvetrain though.

Mine started as possibly rockers. Well I dont know if it want to do a total motor swap..my best bet would be to just leave it off.. open it and see what it is..bc i just want to get it running so i have transportation. If it is a spun bearing can't I just replace the parts?

If it's a spun bearing, the motor has to come out. just replace it before you damage the LS1 block. You can always sell it to recoup part of your money.

So if its not beyond repair. I can clean it up and fix the issue or possibly do a swap.. I kinda wanna swap it, save the motor fix it and put it in a s14 240
