Default Another "help with my CR/head suggestion" thread

So I bought a car with a built motor and the previous owner can't remmber what CC the heads are so I am kinda skeptical on the CR. Below is the information I have regarding the engine. Basically I am wondering if I would be able to switch heads and get my compression down in the 10:1-10.5-7:1? Just trying to figure out what cc heads to look for to get me in this range.

LS6 block bored to 3.905
Lunati 3.903 Flat Top Pistons w/2cc valve relief
Lunati Pro Billet 6.125 rods
Callies Compstar 4.125 crank
GM MLS headgasket 3.910 (.051" thickness?)
TSP Stg 2.5 799 Casting (58-64cc is what i see offered availibity)
Deck height 9.240"

The previous owner say's he thinks that the motor is around 11.8:1. The only other infor he could find off hand was that compression height on the pistons were .978". Any help would be greatly appreciated. IF I can't get down in this range with just a head swap, then I will just build a new one.

Thanks

Its runs mid 10s on motor.

Looking to lower compression for a e85 turbo build. Would like to get all bugs worked out and build new engine next winter.
