Cheap is a bad word when it comes to heads. Leave the factory ported one's behind that some people think are so great. AFR or TRICKFLOW is the way to go. I have ran top sponsors cnc heads two times. then i had a set of AFR and a set of TRICK FLOW(wich i have now) Each time i made a switch,i made great gains in power and at the track. They are worth it over other heads. You get what you pay for. Since you are talking numbers. My old set up made 463hp 414tq on a mustang dyno with AFR lil 205 heads. I also ran close to 10's n/a in a 3,700lbs car and 10.2 on a shot of n.o.s.

When I said cheap, I guess I was referring to a cheap temporary set up. I was planning on going with a nice set of heads later on after I saved up a little. Just wanted to put something on that was a little inexpensive until I got a nice set. Just seemed stupid to leave 241s on if I was already doing all that work. 243s should be coming this week to put on as a temporary solution until I can figure out exactly what set im buying. Heads seem to really be a big matter of opinion... so I guess its more research for a while. Thanks again for all the help.
