Default mix and match spring seats/locators and springs

i will try to make this as clear as i can....
ok i have stock guides .500" O.D. my spring seats/locators are .563" ID (.563" seats/locators are for the larger bronze guides) and my dual springs ID is .678". can i just buy new seats/locators that are .505" (ferrea racing part number #SL1036) and use the dual springs that i have with the new smaller spring seat/locators or do i have to buy all new springs with a smaller inside ID?

Hope i said that the way I was trying to

I think you need to hold off before doing anything. Are you even measuring the correct parts? I asked you to post a pic of all your spring kit since you had the ti retainer upside down using it as a seat in your other thread.....

i never had the ti retainer upside down nor was i using the ti retainer as a seat, i just messed up and said that the seat was made of titanium instead of steal (my bad). im not trying to be argumentative and i do appreciate your input just wanted to make sure you didnt think i was "slow" . here are the pics you asked for, i labeled them.

If you buy new seats, you must ensure the center hole that fits over the guide and the inner spring diameter measurement are correct. Of course the outer diameter must also be large enough to support the outer spring. Hope this makes sense.

Whose is the original manufacturer? Have you contacted them to see if they make a different seat to match the stock valve guide diameter?

The reason I said that is bc it looks grooved and colored like a ti retainer. I've never seen a seat worn like that......

Honestly I think you have created so many headaches for ourself buying used. Should just get a new set with the right components and be done with it the first time.
