Default Cam pick question, for two

I have a friend with a very nice low mileage 2002 WS6 and then my Formula which last time I was on here 40hrs into cam searching mine was a DD. Not anymore, we are in the same boat. Looking for a cam to send a message but not go so far to ruin a lower end. Both cars see maybe 3k miles a year, maybe. Last time I was on here full time the Tsunami and Polluter were the new bigger nice cams. They still what to look at? Cars will other wise be stock motor, 6spd. He has 4.10's in the 10bolt and single exhaust. I have dual 3" and will prolly go 4.30 or 4.56 when I get a 9"

Id go custom EPS. Their making the same peak power as cams with high 23X/24X duration with cams around a 226/234

EPS 226/234 on a 112lsa all day long. Tons of power under the curve and very streetable. You could DD it w/ no problems. Same cam I'm running in my 02 T/A, m6 w/ 4.10. Look into some PSI or Pac 1518 valesprings.

yeah agree, im switching out my ms4 for a eps custom grind over winter, listen big cams are cool but it really takes alot to get them to run how they should, it is not cheap to do a cam only car , it needs the best of everything ,and all the lil odds and ends, getting a big cam to haul is not for someone looking to stay within a budget, not only that for the street you want a cam that will have a good power band, not just in the high rpm range.i have seen tons of guys go with a huge cam leave it at that and get blown away by your basic small cam,and budget heads car.i have been shocked with what i have seen from eps,on the dyno, street, and track. i would go with them hands down

Get either a custom EPS cam or one with Comp LSL lobes; size range: 227 up to 231 duration on INTAKE., and 227 up to 235 duration on the EXHAUST.
